 how to use foto depot

 1. Go to www.winterphotographics.fotosource.com

2. In the center of the screen click on “foto depot”

3. Enter in your Email address, and your password

4. Click on the red, “Order Prints” button

5. Click on the white “add files” button

6. Browse your computer and locate all pictures you would like to print.

7. Repeat steps #5 & 6 as needed.

8. When you have found all the pictures, click the white, “upload all” button.

1. After you have created your “Album” go to photos and click on the photo(s) you want to order and “add to cart”. You can add the whole album by clicking on the album in the “Albums” tab and “select “all pages” then ‘Next” then “select all pages” and “add to cart”.
2. Once in “cart” You can edit your image with picnik: red eye, crop, B&W & by clicking on the “+” button. Here can move the “box” so you get the portion of the image you want (check for heads being cut off). By placing your mouse over the image you can change the quantity. The default for print size is 4x6. If you want different sizes please drag the image to the box that has the size you want to have printed. Remember to check what is going to be printed by clicking on the “+” button, as each print size cuts off different parts of the photo.

9. When you are happy with your order, click on the white “check out” button

1. When prompted, enter in your credit card information.
2. At the “check out” screen you can look over your order, as well as leave comments for our staff regarding your order or any other specific instructions

10. Click the white “Place Order” button

11. Completion varies depending on the size of your order. You will receive and email to let you know when your order is ready to be picked up.

New and Improved!

We've just launched a major update to foto depot, with lots of enhancements and new features, making it even easier to order prints and create foto books. One important change is that albums are now called folders – to remove the confusion between albums and foto books. Folders are where you store, share and organize your photos, just like on your computer.

Adding Photo Captions

Now you can easily add text to any page in a foto book, in a variety of fonts and colours. To start, edit an existing book project, or start a new one and choose your photos. Go to the page where you want to add some text. You can put text in any empty frame by clicking the “A” icon, or you can add a caption by choosing a layout that has caption frames. Click the Layouts tab and select a caption type in the menu on the right side of the well – you can choose from page header, page footer, or photo captions. Drag the layout to the page and then click on the “A” icon in one of the frames. Simply type in your text, select your font style and colour, and click Save. If the text is too small to read on the screen, use the Preview option (the magnifying glass on the frame, or the Preview button in the text editor) to see it larger. Keep in mind that text will be easier to read on a larger printed page.
